New feature trailer for Werner Herzog’s Bad Lieutenant remake, starring Nicolas Cage. A quote from Cage about Herzog’s directing style:
What I enjoy about Werner is his confidence and his precision. He knows what he wants and he does it in two or three takes, maximum. I find that very liberating as an actor. I come in ready to go. I don’t want to waste my energy on too many takes. I knew that Werner would give me the freedom to shape the performance and to be extreme.I’m kind of on a Herzog kick as of late after watching the special features on the Rescue Dawn Blu-ray disc.
Can’t wait to see this. Love the return of a crazy Nicolas Cage.

Things got a little nerdy this past weekend, hooked up Pete’s laptop to a 40” LCD and burned through some old arcade games, nostalgia in high gear.
Games are a lot easier to beat when quarters and continues are no longer an issue.
I must ask, what did you guys use as joysticks? I’m trying to figure out because Rob and I might duplicate this whole entire thing you guys did.
My roommate is building an everything gaming cabinet so he had a few USB saturn controllers and I had an extra usb generic controller. Just hook them all up in a up to one laptop with a hub and you’re good to go.
Once he finishes the cabinet you guys need to come check it out.

I am in love with the look of these stills, I really hope the actual film doesn’t stray from this style.
