Although overly exhausted, I went to the Tim Kasher solo apartment show last night (ending up being across the street from my place) and really enjoyed it. He played all new material that will be on a solo album he is releasing this summer(ish). He also tackled a Simon and Garfunkel cover as well as an amazingly fun cover of “We Built This City” (Which I deeply regret not recording, hopefully it’ll be on youtube). Best of all he really seemed to enjoy the experience and the crowd; lots of good banter ensued.
Needless to say, after this I am really excited for the solo record. Lots of new material dealing with the subject matter Kasher deals with best, heartbreak, the expectations of getting older, etc.
Hoping to find a bootleg.
