The more we write on our feature, the more this notebook resembles the one from Seven.

It doesn’t help that my handwriting also looks like a serial killer’s.

I recently started a tumblr for our (Mine and Hunter’s) filmmaking moniker DimeStore Films. Our slick new website is almost done and when it is this tumblr will be integrated into it.

It might not be much now but it’ll grow into a beautiful monument to frivolity and independent filmmaking. Please give us a follow to see new short films, musings, and other DimeStore related news.

I’m in the picture business, I make pictures

We just got back from our meeting with the producers/production company that liked out script. While trying not get ahead of ourselves, we’re happy to say that they want to move forward with it and will be sending us a contract along with reviewing our second draft in the coming month.

Needless to say, this is huge for us and tonight, we’re celebrating this victory.

Finally reached page 100 on our feature script (Tentativley titled “The Origins of Wit and Humor”)!
So close to having the first draft knocked out.

The find that started it all.
While our script is not  an adaptation of this book in any way, the book itself plays a pivotal role in it. We also bit the title…which we’ll probably have to change so we don’t get sued by Mr. Rapp.

Transcribing what we have of the first draft of “The Origins of Wit and Humor”, our feature.
It’s a real pain in the ass when your hand writing looks like a first grader’s.
