Ryan Heshka has a show called “Strange Powers” at the Rotofugi Gallery opening this Friday, running through the beginning of June.

Definitely attending and hopefully leaving with some art…if I can afford it.

I finally got around to reading Asterios Polyp by David Mazzucchelli after having it on my Amazon wishlist for months and I absolutely loved it. Every text bubble, panel, and transition is brilliantly illustrated and written. I really enjoyed how every character has their own unique font for their speech bubbles, giving them all a certain personality that comes off the page.

I can’t recommend this book enough for those who have any interest whatsoever in graphic novels. Or if you’re just looking for a good story and some pretty pictures to look at.
